BMT has been supporting USDA’s Agricultural Research Service (ARS) with their environmental programs for many years. Along the way, we have developed capability and in-depth knowledge in a number of areas.
We recently completed a demonstration project at a USDA landfill that has been well received by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE).
The use of compost and vegetation in capping has shown great promise in providing environmental benefits while addressing closure requirements at reduced cost. We have experience working with customers to assist in reducing emissions, groundwater contamination, leachate production, and a host of other challenges. Our goal is to solve these unique problems efficiently and cost-effectively using sustainable resources.
Whatever environmental challenges your company may be facing, our team is prepared to find the best solution for your operation.
